STEPS
Lets start from the basics.Citra is a free and developing 3ds emulating software and was able to run some homebrew games but with the nightly built update it is now able to emulate most games including POKEMON OMEGA RUBY/ALPHA SAPPHIRE but with lags even on a PC with GTX 1080 but it runs more faster than Pokemon X and Y
To run 3ds roms you need a decrypted Rom or a rebuilt rom to run in citra which can be obtained by editing the original Rom with a 3ds or 2ds in hands but i know most of you dont have DS so I had a ready-built Rom for dowload in Google drive link below.
Today i will be showing you how you can run only Pokemon ALPHA SAPPHIRE in your PC with playable framrates.Check out the video to look at the fps it is gonna run.

Make sure your PC has following requirements or Citra is not gonna run at all!
CPU - Intel Pentium Dual Core
RAM - 2 GB
GPU - 512 MB GPU with SHADER 3.3 AND DX10
HDD - 2 GB for game AND 50 MB for citra

Steps to Install
1.Download Citra Cro Built from here. The original website Citra wont work for Pokemon.
2.Download Pokemon ALPHA SAPPHIRE Descrypted Rom from here
3.Copy & Paste Pokemon ALPHA SAPPHIRE inside Citra folder
4.Now in Citra folder you have to open the application named citra-qt-vc.exe
5.Select the Icon of Pokemon ALPHA SAPPHIRE
6.Enjoyy! And if there is blackscreen issue at startup keep pressing Key "A".

DeleteThis does work, but a save file has already been created. A player named Akhil with a Treeko. Deleting a save file is usually up+b+x on the title screen, but it does not work for me. It is either a solution or a whole new file to download.
ReplyDeleteIt worked for me. There was an akhil save file with 7 min of play time. I deleted that by pressing t+z+s on the citra emulator controls. it asked whether i wanted to delete progress as usual. i said yes, and my screen went blank. I thought it froze but it basically "turned off" the 3ds emulator after resetting. I closed citra, and reopened alpha sapphire, and i started a new game/new save file automatically. I literally just started and im on the prof birch beginning. UR WELCOME FOR ALL THE HELP!!!
Deletethere is a problem that i cannot enter the pokecentre. It will just lagged and nothing can be done with it. The same problem occurs when i battle with other npcs

ReplyDeletethe Citra-qt-vc.exe closes after after a second, i beleave there are missing user and platform files, you should actually give a proper tutorial on how you installed the citra files

DeleteEverytime I open Citra-qt-vc.exe , It says a couple of files are missing.I see a couple of others have said the same thing, but no response? It would be nice to get some help, Akhil. Any solution as to how to open those files would be appreciated. Contact me over email if required prateekchellanichamp@gmail.com. Btw, I'm facing the same difficulty in X&Y as well, so maybe the problem is with you Citra CRO.

DeleteHi John, I tried the shared font bin and the game works, but it said that there was something regarding a region thing missing, and it didn't give me the option to choose my language. It automatically put on Japanese, and I have no clue what it says.

ReplyDeleteWhen I try to load it, it bring up a system error saying, "The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this program." Is there something I am doing wrong, or is this a problem with the download? I followed all of the instructions.
